Bar is a town blessed with 270 sunny days in a year, which makes it perfect for winter vacation. It is also famous for centennial olive trees. Legend has it that some of the oldest olive trees in this area witnessed the passing of the Roman troops. The oldest of these trees is over 2000 years old. Every year an Olive Festival is held in Bar. During winter tangerine and orange trees are in bloom and the fragrance and the sight are tremendously relaxing.
