XXIV Festival - Budva Theatre City (Budva Grad Teatar)

 This festival is an ode to the festival and cultural cult following that this town has nourished through centuries. During the period, from the beginning of July to the end of August, the most representative theatrical plays from the former Yugoslavia and abroad are performed at this festival. The most celebrated names in the art of acting and play writing come to present their work in this spectacular scene, unique because the decor for all plays are Budva's ancient walls and sea. This festival is not only about drama and written word. Many musical performances and painting shows take place in Budva during the summer. In this period Budva is not only the center of fun, but also the Balkans' center of culture. Cafes become meeting points for intellectuals and artists who discuss literature and plays with inevitable bohemian nights.

This is a kind of manifestation with very rich program that it's worth visiting, so we are recommending you to take a look if you haven't so far. As we mentioned before, the program is rich so we will be giving you announced exhibitions, plays and concerts week per week till 20^th of August. 13^th of August - Square of Poets - "Crnogorska proza u kritici I teoriji regiona"

14^th of August - Theatre play - "Do Do Land" performed by Puho Theatre from Spain - play starts at 22h in front of the Old town

15h of August - Solo piano concert  by Grana Djikanovic (pianist) - concert starts at 22h in Hotel Mediteran

16^th of August - Square of Poets - Night of Poets

17^th of August - Theatre play - "B.A.U." - performed by Theatre en vol from Italy - play starts at 22h in front of the Old town

18^th of August - Jazz concert - Tribute to Nikola Mimo Mitrovic by Soul Connection big band (realized in association with Touristic Organization Budva and NGO Sound of music) - concert starts at 22h in front of Hotel Avala
