Bar Train Station
The main line for Montenegrin railway is Bar - Belgrade (Serbia). That train line is very frequent, especially in the summer season when tourists from Serbia come to Montenegro. There are local trains for Montenegro area only (Bar, Sutomore, Podgorica, Kolasin, Bijelo Polje) and there are trains that have regular lines to Serbia. The railway connects Montenegrin shore and northern part and continuing further to Belgrade. It is relatively humble comparing to the other European railways and trains, but it is very important mean of transportation. You can buy tickets directly at the station; if you are traveling to further destination it is always good to buy ticket (with seat reservation voucher) several days before, especially in the summer when traffic is very frequent.
